MARIO BOTTA

Mario Botta is a renowned international architect who has been awarded numerous prizes and is known as a pillar of the architectural world. His strong personality allows him to defend his powerful ideas, which include: “Architecture is an ethical field before being an aesthetic one.”

Mario Botta has reinvented the simplest and most evident forms – the square, circle, and rectangle. For him, simple forms are forms that reassure because they are pure and easy to grasp and understand.
